About Walker
I’m a licensed therapist and trained pastor dedicated to helping individuals and couples find hope, healing, and meaningful change. My work is shaped by the unique blend of clinical training and pastoral experience, allowing me to support clients with both practical therapeutic tools and deep compassion for the emotional and spiritual layers of their lives.
For many people, struggles like anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, shame, compulsive behaviors, or life transitions can feel overwhelming and isolating. My goal is to offer a space where you feel understood, supported, and safe to explore whatever you’re carrying—emotionally, mentally, or spiritually.
My background as a pastor helps me approach therapy with warmth, empathy, and a deep respect for your values and story. My clinical training as a therapist ensures that the guidance you receive is grounded in evidence-based treatment, professional ethics, and methods proven to foster meaningful change. Whether you want your faith integrated into therapy or prefer a more traditional therapeutic approach, I meet you exactly where you are.
I work with clients navigating:
Anxiety, stress, and burnout
Previous traumatic experiences
Relationship and communication challenges
Compulsive sexual behaviors and pornography addiction
Grief, shame, and identity struggles
Spiritual questions, doubt, or healing from past religious experiences
Personal growth and reconnecting with purpose
My approach is collaborative and non-judgmental. Together, we’ll work to understand the patterns shaping your life and develop healthier, more grounded ways of coping, relating, and moving forward. Each session is designed to bring clarity, empowerment, and a renewed sense of direction.
Whether you’re seeking emotional support, spiritual insight, or both, I’m here to walk alongside you as you take the next steps toward healing and wholeness.
My Training & Experience
I am a credentialed therapist in Ohio, Florida, and Alabama. I have the following trainings to ensure my therapy is trauma-aware and clinically sound:
Certified Brainspotting Clinician for the treatment of trauma through the Pacific Counseling and Trauma Center.
Certified Clinician through SYMBIS and PREPARE/ENRICH for premarital and marital counseling.
I regularly engage in supervision and continued professional development to ensure my work remains ethical, supportive, and effective.
Why I Became a Therapist
I’ve always been drawn to listening beneath the surface - to what’s left unsaid, the patterns we repeat, and the ways we learn to cope.
Like many people in their 30s, I’ve witnessed how modern life asks us to move quickly, hold everything together, and keep going even when we’re exhausted. Over time, this can leave us disconnected from our emotions, our needs, and our sense of self.
Becoming a therapist felt like a natural extension of this understanding. I wanted to create the kind of space I believe we all deserve - one where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or rush your healing.
What Matters to Me in the Therapy Room
I care deeply about creating a space that feels:
Safe and non-judgemental
Calm and steady, especially during difficult moments
Honest, without being overwhelming
Respectful of your boundaries and autonomy
You are always in control of what we talk about. My role is to support, not direct.
If you’re considering therapy, you don’t need to be certain or ready to commit long-term.
A free consultation offers a chance to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and see whether it feels like the right fit for you.
You’re very welcome to reach out when it feels right.
